Exact location from emergency calls
Using the SmartLocator solution, an operator in the emergency call centre (PSAP) retrieves the exact location of emergency calls from multiple sources.
ELS/AML location + International emergency calls
SmartLocator enables Google Emergency Location Services (ELS) and Advanced Mobile Location (AML) from Android and iOS phones. ELS and AML have to be configured in cooperation with Google and Apple. SmartLocator team helps you ensure the registration process is smooth.
International emergency calls to the emergency number are made by foreigners visiting your country. By default, the exact caller location is not sent via SMS. However, the SmartLocator provides the solution for such emergency calls. Contact us for more information.
Workflow: 1. Person in distress makes the call. 2. Operator gets the location automatically.
eCall location
SmartLocator enables eCall minimum set of data (MSD), automatically transmitted from the car involved in road accident. MSD contains information such as timestamp, GPS location, driving direction, number of passengers, vehicle identification number (VIN), etc. Retrieving eCall MSD has to be configured in cooperation with the eCall service provider or local PSAP.
Workflow: 1. eCall device in the car makes the call. 2. Operator gets the MDS (minimum set of data) and location automatically.
SMS location + Real-time video streaming + Eyewitness photos & video
SmartLocator enables accurate retrieval of call locations from smartphones via SMS. Get a real-time video, images and videos from the field. Communicate with callers via SMS through built-in chat.
Workflow: 1. Person in distress makes the call. 2. Operator sends the SMS, containing the web link. 3. Person in distress opens the web link in SMS. 4. Operator gets the location of the caller. 5. Person in distress starts real-time video streaming or shares eyewitness photos & video.
Mobile App location
SmartLocator enables the exact location from the mobile phone with pre-installed emergency mobile application. Emergency call is triggered from the application. Retrieving details from the application has to be configured in cooperation with the application owner.
Workflow: 1. Person in distress has to download the rescue app. 2. Person in distress makes the call. 3. Operator gets the location automatically.
